These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Plumber LLC. By booking a service, using our website, or engaging our technicians, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Plumber LLC website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our website or booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are booking services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of Plumber LLC. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Services Provided

Plumber LLC provides residential plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services in the states listed on our Services page. Service availability may vary by location and is subject to technician availability.

  • All services are performed by licensed, insured technicians employed by or contracted to Plumber LLC
  • We reserve the right to decline, modify, or limit service in circumstances where work cannot be completed safely, lawfully, or within our service scope
  • Plumber LLC does not guarantee specific outcomes but does guarantee the quality of the work performed under the warranty terms in Section 5
  • Services involving permits (electrical panel upgrades, gas line work, etc.) are subject to applicable local requirements and inspection timelines outside our control

3. Booking & Scheduling

Appointment Confirmation

A booking request submitted online or by phone constitutes a service request, not a confirmed appointment. Appointments are confirmed when you receive a confirmation call or message from our team, typically within 15 minutes during business hours.

Arrival Windows

We schedule appointments in 2-hour arrival windows. We make every reasonable effort to arrive within the stated window. If we anticipate being outside the window, we will notify you in advance. Our on-time guarantee (diagnostic fee waived) applies when we fail to arrive within the window without prior notification.

Access Requirements

You must ensure that a responsible adult (18+) is present at the service address for the duration of the appointment. Our technicians reserve the right to decline service if safe or reasonable access to the work area is not provided.

4. Pricing & Payment

Upfront Pricing

We use flat-rate, upfront pricing. Before any work begins, your technician will provide a written quote for approval. We will not perform work above the approved quote amount without your explicit authorization.

Diagnostic / Service Call Fee

A service call fee of $79–$99 (depending on the trade) applies to all appointments. This fee is waived when you approve and proceed with the repair or installation on the same visit.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service completion unless alternative terms are agreed in writing
  • We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, ACH transfer, check, and cash
  • Financing is available for qualifying jobs over $500 through our third-party financing partner
  • Invoices unpaid after 30 days may accrue interest at 1.5% per month

5. Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

Labor Warranty

All labor performed by Plumber LLC technicians is warranted for one (1) year from the date of service. If an issue directly related to our workmanship recurs within the warranty period, we will return and correct the issue at no additional labor charge.

Parts Warranty

Parts installed by our technicians carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Our labor warranty applies independently of the manufacturer’s parts warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or work performed by others after our service
  • Normal wear and tear of components or appliances
  • Issues resulting from pre-existing conditions not related to our scope of work
  • Emergency services where temporary repairs are made pending full resolution
  • Damage caused by acts of God, flooding, fire, or external factors beyond our control

On-Time Guarantee

If we arrive outside your scheduled arrival window without prior notification, your diagnostic fee for that visit will be waived in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

⚠️ Important: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plumber LLC’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid for the specific service, or (b) $500. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer of Plumber LLC, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area, including clearing obstructions and securing pets
  • Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present for the duration of the appointment
  • Disclose any known hazards at the property
  • Not harass or engage in abusive conduct toward our technicians
  • Pay for services rendered in accordance with the agreed quote

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  • More than 2 hours before appointment: No charge
  • Less than 2 hours before appointment: A $39 late-cancellation fee applies
  • No-show (technician arrives, no access): Full service call fee applies

Plumber-Initiated Cancellation

We may need to reschedule in rare circumstances (technician illness, emergency, severe weather). We will notify you as early as possible and offer the next available appointment at no additional charge.

Emergency Bookings

Emergency service bookings may not be cancelled without charge once a technician has been dispatched. The service call fee applies upon dispatch.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Plumber LLC website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and software — is the property of Plumber LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Contact our customer service at hello@plumber.com or (800) 555-1234. We commit to responding within 5 business days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class Action Waiver

You and Plumber LLC each waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date, notify customers by email, and display a notice on our website for 30 days.
